Waste Management Program

This is a business system intended for companies that need powerful capabilities to track waste that production plants produce. Based on user input, this system keeps track of the waste that is produced and hence gives companies a starting point for reducing waste in the future. The system produces three types of reports: daily, monthly and yearly waste reports. The system was coded using Visual Basic 6.0 and uses Access 2000 as a backend database. The reports are generated in Excel 2000.

This application has the capacity to be tailored for individual company needs.

Patent Handling System

This system is used for the preparation of patent applications and their subsequent handling at the patent office where the application is filed. The system can also be used as a basis for the development of software used in intellectual property procedures of different sorts.

This software is developed in two versions. A single user version where a local database is used, and a multi-user client/server version using a corporate SQL Server (Interbase or Oracle). The system has the capability to support multiple languages. The structure of the data allows for flexibility of attributes (captions, prompts, hints, status bar messages, validation messages, help context Ids) that are defined via data templates which allow modification without re-compiling the program.

Employee Tracking System

This is a business system intended for companies that need to manage the activities of their employees working out of the office. The system consists of the main database running in the main office of the company, employees databases and a couple of applications.

All the updates from the databases of the employees are transferred to the main office via FTP. With the transfer taking place in both directions the data is synchronized. In turn, this allows for the analysis of current turnover made by any eemployee.
